Austin-based Spiceworks, the developer of free IT management applications, said today at the launch of its annual user conference, that the firm has reached 1.2 million users, with around 37.5 million end users and 66 million computers and devices under management. The firm said it is adding around 67,00 computers a day to its network each day, or approximately the size of a Fortune 100 company. Spiceworks develops free, IT management software which also links into an online community of IT users. The firm is backed by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), Austin Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
