Spiceworks Rolls Vendor Pages
Austin-based Spiceworks, the developer of free IT management tools, said this morning it has rolle dout new "vendor pages" which will help technology brands connect with users of its software. According to Spiceworks, the new personalized Vendor Page allows technology providers to create a branded presence in its tools, and interact with users of its software. Spiceworks said that so far, it has over 50 brands which have created their own pages on the software. In creating the pages, Spiceworks is taking a page from consumer social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, allowing users of Spiceworks to "follow" companies, their news, and information. Spiceworks said it will provide both free and premium vendor pages with enhanced features and customization.
