Austin-based Spiceworks, a developer of IT management software, said this morning that the firm has added integration with the popular micro-messaging service Twitter in its latest release. The firm--which is now billing its software a "social IT management application"--said that the software can now send updates to a user's Twitter account. Other new features include enhanced network mapping, application plug-ins to Microsoft, LiveOffice, Intel, and Trend Micro products, along with other enhancements. Spiceworks' software is targeted at small and medium businesses.
