    SolarWinds Taps VC For VP


    Austin-based network management software firm SolarWinds has expanded its executive team, saying that it has hired Karen White as the company's Vice President of Corporate and Business Development. White was formerly a managing director at venture capital firm Pequot Ventures. White will lead the company's business development and merger and acquisition efforts. White has also previously served at Oracle, where she was SVP Worldwide Marketing and Business Development reporting to Larry Ellison and Ray Lane.
