Dallas-based SoftLayer Technologies reported this morning that it has upgrade its inventory of edge network routers, resulting in an increase in its routing footprint by four times the capacity. The firm said the upgrade will provide faster performance, stability, reliability, and other benefits to its customers. SoftLayer tapped Juniper Networks and its MX 3D Universal Edge Routers for the upgrade. Specifics of its network capacity were not announced.
