Snap Kitchen Raises $22M For Healthy Meals

Austin-based Snap Kitchen, which operates a chain of 30, retail stores offering up freshly prepared "takeaway" meals, has raised $22M in a funding round. The funding came from private equity investor Catterton, along with o-founder Bradley Radoff. The company said it will use the funding for further expansion. As part of the funding, Snap Kitchen has appointed David Kirchhoff as Chief Executive Officer. Kirchoff was most recently CEO of Weight Watchers. Snap Kitchen says it now has more than 30 stores spread across Austin, Dallas, Houston and Chicago.
