Dallas-based mobile barcode reading app developer Shopsavvy said today that it has raised $7M in new funding, led by Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of Facebook. The round also included Brad Martin (Saks Fifth Avenue), and James Bailey. Saverin joins the company's board along with the funding. ShopSavvy, which is headed by Alexander Muse, develops mobile apps for iPhone and Android which can be used to scan barcodes and compare prices. More information »
