Splunk, the developer of enterprise indexing software whose lead investor is Sevin Rosen Partners, the Dallas venture capital firm, has moved one step closer towards its IPO. Splunk, which is based in San Francisco, said it expects to price its IPo at between $8.00 and $10.00 a share. Sevin Rosen is the lead investor in Splunk, owning 20.4 percent of the company. Splunk is aiming to trade as SPLK on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. Other investors in Splunk are August Capital, Ignition Partners, and JK&B Capital.
