San Marcos Hopes For Fulfillment Center

San Marcos is hoping to land itself a brand, shiny new fulfillment center, run by, after the city council approved a generous package of economic incentives aimed at bringing the retailer to the city. The San Marcos City Council voted 7-0 on Monday for the incentives, which it hopes will convince to set up shop in the city, bringing with it at least 350 jobs, and an expected $191M invested in construction and startup investments. Amazon apparently is looking at sites in at least three other states for a fulfillment center.
