Austin-based SailPoint, the developer of identity management tools, reported today that it has partnered with Symantec, on providing insight into Data Loss Prevention (DLP) violations. Data Loss Prevention software looks to provide companies with a way to reduce the risk of information leakage or loss of confidential information from their companies. SailPoint said it is providing tools to help mitigate future losses in an organization. SailPoint's software is used to manage user access to corporate applications and data.
