Austin-based SailPoint and Houston-based BMC Software said late Thursday that BMC has selected SailPoint as a strategic provider of identity management software. According to the two companies, SailPoint's product line will be available through BMC's sales force and distribution partners. The companies did not discuss any financial details of the deal, and the two had already signed a resale deal in September.
