RiseSmart Finds $1.5M For Job Search Service

Dallas-based RiseSmart, an online, human-powered job search service, said yesterday that it has raised $1.5M in a seed round of funding. According to RiseSmart, the firm's subscription-based service will assign a "job concierge" to help members find relevant job listings. Investors in the firm include Craig Stamm, the former chief financial officer for and; Mark Hamdan, founder and chief executive officer of HRsmart; and Louis Ramery, senior vice president of relationship marketing at Sears Holdings Corporation.
