RiseSmart, an online jobs site focused on helping jobseekers find their next job, has left the Dallas area as a result of finding a Series A funding. RiseSmart said today that it has raised $3M in a Series A funding from Norwest Venture Partners, but also said that it relocated to Sunnyvale, California as part of the funding. The firm said that it relocated to Silicon Valley a few months ago in anticipation of the funding, which came from a Bay Area venture capital firm.
