Richardson-based RipCode, a developer of video trancoding appliances, has raised $1.0M in a debt funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today. Source of the new funding was not disclosed, however, the round appears to be a convertible debt funding. RipCode last raised funding over a year ago, in January of 2009, from Granite Ventures, Hunt Ventures, El Dorado Ventures, Vesbrige Partners, and ATA Ventures. More information »
