RF Code Adds Air Pressure Sensing
Austin-based RF Code, the provider of IT asset management systems and hardware, said today that it has rolled out a new wireless sensor to its product line. According to the company, it has added a new, wire-free air pressure sensor to provide differential air pressure readings in data centers. The firm said air pressure is a key monitoring metric used for optimizing air flow and measuring the thermal characteristics in data centers. Pricing on the new sensor was not announced. RF Code said the data collected by its sensors can be used to reduce the need for manual troubleshooting of air flow problems in data centers.
