RentEval Acquired By Rapoport Investments

Dallas-based RentEval, a developer of smartphone software used for property evaluations, has been acquired by Rapoport Investment, the investment firm of angel investor Neal Rapoport, the two said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed, although the companies said it was a "six figure" deal. RentEval--which was backed by Code Authority and Tech Wildcatters--develops mobile property evaluation applications used by property management groups. The companies said that RentEval came out of the CodeLaunch 2013 startup competition, which was run by Code Authority.
