Raytheon IIS Buys Software Provider


Garland, Texas-based Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems, said this morning that it has acquired SI Government Solutions, a provider of software security products for the U.S. intelligence community. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SI Government Solutions develops vulnerability assessment software used to protect government customers, and is based in Melbourne, Florida. The firm will become part of Raytheon's Intelligence and Information Systems unit, which is based in Garland. According to Raytheon, its IIS division has revenues of approximately $2.7B and employes more than 9,000. Raytheon is based in Waltham, Mass.
