Pristine Finds $5.4M For Google Glass Apps For Healthcare

Austin-based Pristine, a developer of healthcare applications for Google Glass, said Tuesday that it has raised $5.4M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by S3 Ventures, and also included Capital Factory, HealthFundr, and others. Pristine is developing HPAA-compliant applications for Google Glass, which are used to share a user's point of view with other medical professionals. The company is led by Kyle Samani. Pristine said the new funds go towards R&D, sales, marketing, and other growth efforts.
