Austin-based Planview announced a new software product this week, Planview Enterprise Insight Analytics, targeted at businesses analytics. The firm said that the new product can be used for improving business decisions aroudn demand, resource, and financial management within IT and product development organizations. The new tool is used to develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models, strategic planning, resource management, and related business planning. The new tool runs on Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.
