Pivot3 Upgrades Storage System
Spring, Texas-based Pivot3 said this morning it has released a new version of the firm's storage system. The company said its Pivot3 High-Definition Storage system now supports 1TB hard disk drives and additional scaling options, increasing its video capture capacity by 60 percent. Pivot3 markets its storage products to the video surveillance market. With the upgrade, the firm's software-based RAID storage supports up to 72 terabytes. Pivot3 is venture backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and InterWest Partners.
