    Pivot3 Gets Army Win

Digital storage device manufacturer Pivot3 Inc. revealed Wednesday that it and ACG-Security LLC, a system integrator for the federal and defense industries, will provide data storage equipment for the U.S. Army's project Bazaar as part of a joint customer win. The financial impact of the new business was not disclosed. Pivot3 said ACG will install Pivot3's clustered storage arrays in support of the U.S. Army's Terrestrial-Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance system in Iraq. Once deployed, the system will provide vehicle-bound soldiers with superior situational awareness during combat, Pivot3 explained. ACG-Security is based in Fairfax, Va. Pivot3 is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
