Houston-based Pivot3, a provider of storage products for the video market, said earlier this week that the firm has expanded its sales team, both in the U.S. and internationally. The firm said that it has hired on Kirk Brown as Director of Critical Infrastructure Sales, Carl DeGroat as Director of Government Sales, Michael Scaeffer as National Gaming Director, and Stu Taylor as International Sales Director. Pivot3's storage produts are specifically targeted at the video surveillance market. The firm is venture backed by Interwest Partners, Lightspeed Ventures, Mesirow Financial, and Silver Creek Technology Investors.
