Dallas-based Phytel, a developer of web-based, health software, said this morning that it has named Dr. Richard Hodach as Chief Medical Officer for the firm. Hodach was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Matria Healthcare. He also has served at Accordant, MED.I.A., and served as Associate Director of the Regional Parkinson Center in Milwaukee. Hodach worked with Phytel's CEo, Steve Schelhammer, at Accordant. Phytel recently raised $14.2M in a funding round from Polaris Venture Partners, Caris, Ltd., and LAH Investments, L.P.
