Austin-based Pervasive Software announced today that it has shipped a new product it is calling Pervasive DataRush. The firm said the new embedded software is targeted at data-intesive processing and analytics. The firm said the new software is based on a massively parallel data processing engine, used for deep analysis and searching of large data stores, and also takes advantage of multicore processors. The firm is targeting the software for such applications as claims processing, risk analysis, fraud detection, data mining, predictive analytics, sales optimization and marketing analytics.
