OpenLink Debuts Commodities-Scheduling Module
Houston, Texas-based OpenLink, a developer of cross-asset trading, risk management and operations-processing software, announced Tuesday that it has released the final addition to its "Motion" product suite. Called cMotion, the new tool integrates OpenLink's Endur platform with the company's pMotion (for power) and gMotion (for natural gas) applications. OpenLink said this enables cMotion customers to manage the physical logistics of virtually any commodity, whether it travels by wire, pipeline, tanker, barge, rail or truck. The company added that cMotion's target clientele includes refining and petrochemical industries, integrated energy firms and power generators. Founded in 1992, OpenLink is headquartered in Houston.
