Nuventix Gets Funding From GE

Austin-based Nuventix, the developer of thermal management technology headed by Jim Balthazar, has scored backing from GE. According to GE, Nuventix was one of ten companies it invested in as part of a $63M energy investment effort. Amount invested in Nuventix was not disclosed. GE said the investment was part of its $200M, "GE ecomagination challenge". Nuventix has previously raised funding from Advanced Technology Ventures, Braemar Energy Ventures, CenterPoint Ventures, Interwest Partners, Rho Ventures, and Uniquest. More information »
