NIMBOXX Raises $12M For Software Defined Data Center

Austin-based NIMBOXX, a developer of technology for the software-defined data center market, said Thursday that it has raised $12M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Hong Kong investor SMC Holdings. NIMBOXX, which is led by Rocky Bullock, said it has built an entire stack of software which installs "bare metal" on servers and provides unified, software-defined data center functionality, providing server, storage, networking, and security functionality in a single platform.
