    Report: CTAN, Houston Angel Network Two Most Active Angel Groups
    Two, Texas angel investment groups--the Central Texas Angel Network, and the Houston Angel Network, have tied for the number one place in terms of investment activity, according to a report recently released by the Angel Resource Insitute.     Savara Gets $15M In Debt Funding From SVB
    Austin-based pharmaceuticals developer Savara announced this morning that it has entered into a $15M, loan agreement with Silicon Valley Bank. According to the company, the agreement provides for $15M in a debt facility, with $7.5M immediately available to the company. Savara said it would partially use the funding to pay off pre-merger debt of $3.7M owed to Hercules Technology Growth Capital, as well as for ongoing development programs and general corpo (More info...)

    Snow Software Takes $120M
    Stockholm, Sweden-based Snow Software, which has its U.S. offices in Austin, has raised $120M in an investment round, the company said last week. The funding came from Sumeru Equity Partners and the Ontario Pension Board. Sumeru Equity Partners' Jason Babcoke and George Kadifa will join the company's board with the funding. Snow Software develops products for managing software assets and licenses.
