    Bloomfire Connects To Salesforce Lightning
    Austin-based sales software developer Bloomfire announced on Thursday that its Salesforce app is now compatible with the new Salesforce Lightning platform, the offering from Salesforce which makes it easy for developers to build apps on Salesforce.     PDI Acquires Pinnacle Corporation
    Temple, Texas-based PDI, which develops software used for by retail gas station, convenience stores, and petroleum wholesalers, has acquired the enterprise resource planning (ERP) assets of Arlington, Texas-based The Pinnacle Corporation.     Blue Prism Opens Location In Austin
    UK-based Blue Prism, a developer of digital workflow automation software, said this morning that it has opened up a new global technical innovation center and support center in Austin. Saying that Austin is "one of the fastest growing large cities in the United States" and citing a "great pool of talent", the company said the new center will provide support to a rapidly growing base of U.S. customers for its process automation software.
