    Ambiq Micro Gets Smartwatch Design Win
    Austin-based Ambiq Micro, which is developing ultra-low power microprocessors for the embedded market, announced this morning that its processor has been selected for use in a smartwatch from Matrix Industries. According to Ambiq Micro, its Apollo MCU is being used as the main processor for the Matrix PowerWatch, a new smartwatch which never needs recharging.     CRG Raises $1.25M Healthcare Investment Fund
    Houston-based healthcare investor CRG announced this morning that it has raised a new, $1.25M healthcare investment fund, CRG Partners III L.P., raising its assets under management to more than $3 billion. According to CRG, the fund exceeded its original target by 25 percent. CRG said the funding came from global institutional investors across North America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.     Tyler Technologies Signs Amarillo
    Plano-based software developer Tyler Technologies has signed up another local customer, the city of Amarillo, for its EnerGov and Munis software, the company said on Tuesday. Size of the contract win was not announced. Tyler Technologies said it software replaces an existing combination of in-house and vendor-provided software solutions, which are used for licensing, permitting, and utility billing. Amarillo has 200,000 residents.
