    Armor Gets PCI Compliance Validation
    Richardson-based Armor, a cloud-based security provider, says it has received a validation that the company's product is compliance with requirements from the Payment Card Industry (PCI). The company said it received an "Attestation of Compliance" from a third party assessor, which means that its customers will have less of a compliance burden to meet their own PCI requirements.

    iQor In New Hiring Push In Richardson
    iQor, which provides outsource customers and product support, said on Tuesday that it has ramped its hiring at its Richardson, Texas site. iQor--based in Florida--says it hopes to hire 150 new customer service agents at its site, to support the media and wireless, healthcare, and retail industry. The call center operator has at least three call centers in and around Dallas.

    GameSalad Aims At STEM Education
    Austin-based game development software developer GameSalad is targeting the educational market, with a new STEM education push. According to GameSalad, it has helped deployed STEM-based iniaitives in 223 schools, serving over 6,700 students, as a part of an effort to transform how K-12 students perceive and pursue tech and science education.     Amazon Launches Free, One Hour Restaurant Delivery In Houston
    Amazon.com said this morning that it is ramping up its restaurant delivery efforts in Houston, saying it will offer up free, one hour delivery on meals from a number of popular restaurants in the city, as part of its Prime Now restaurant delivery service. Amaozn said that Prime members can order food from the local restaurants, using either the Prime Now mobile app or a new website.
