 Monday, August 22, 2016 Silicon Labs Snags HomeAway Executive Austin-based Silicon Labs has snagged an executive away from HomeAway, saying it has named Lori Knowlton as the company's new Chief People Offier (CPO). Knowlton had most recently served in the same position at HomeAway.com, where she had been for ten years. Silicon Labs said Knowlton will be in charge of the company's talent strategy, leadership development, community relations and culture. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. CompuCom said it would use the acquisition to bolster its global infrastructure strategy. Extensys is based in Tampa, Florida, however, the company's IoT team is based in Charlotte, NC, where it had originally been known as SmartCore.
