 Friday, August 19, 2016 Vista Equity Buys Granicus Austin-based private equity investor Vista Equity Partners has acquired cloud-based government software developer Granicus, the two announced on Thursday. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Granicus was owned by private equity ivnestor K1 Investment Management, which retains a minority stake in the company. The funding was led by New Science Ventures, and also included S3 Ventures. Vivek Mohindra of New Science Ventures joins the company's board with the funding.
