Thursday, May 19, 2016 Bloomfire Bags $12.8M Funding Round Austin-based Bloomfire, which develops content sharing software for marketing and sales, has raised $12.8M in a Series B funding, the company said Thursday. The funding came from Austin Ventures. Bloomfire said it will use the new funding to scale its sales and marketing team, and further develop its platform. According to the company, the funding will go towards developing a monoclonal antibody, PTX-25, and setting up a corporate headquarters and laboratory facilities in Austin.
