    BuzzStream Launches Software Out Of Beta
    Austin-based BuzzStream, the developer of social marketing and influencer marketing tools, said Wednesday that it has launched its BuzzStream Discovery software out of beta. The tool has been in beta testing since December. The company said it now has a database of over 1.1 million influencers, which it extracted out of over 200 million blog posts.     Kony Snags IBM Vet As CTO
    Austin-based enterprise mobility software developer Kony announced this morning that it has named form IBM Chief Technology Officer of Mobile Computing, Bill Bodin, as its new Chief Technology Officer. Bodin had spent 27 years at IBM, most recently serving as CTO of IBM's Mobile Computing CIO Group, and was a Distinguished Engineer at IBM, having worked on such efforts as IBMs monbile development accelerator product, IBM Catalyst, among many other areas.

    TPG Growth Buys Frank Recruitment Group
    Fort Worth-based middle market equity investment firm TPG Growth announced this morning that it has acquired staffing and recruiting company Frank Recruitment Group, from its founders and private equity firm Livingbridge. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Frank Recruitment Group specifically focuses on the enterprise software market, and is based in Newcastle, UK.     SpaceX Testing Mars Mission Lander In Texas, Targets 2018 For Launch
    Space rocket firm SpaceX said Wednesday that it has been running test in McGregor, Texas, of its propulsive landing systems, in hopes of delivering a payload to Mars as early as 2018. According to SpaceX and founder Elon Musk, it is hoping to land its Red Dragon landers to Mars, using its SuperDraco propulsive landing systems, as a first test of a platform it says it expects to be able to land anywhere in the solar system.
