    Alert Media Raising $4M
    Austin-based Alert Media, a developer of mass notification and emergency notification systems, is raising $4M in a Series A-1 funding round, the company disclosed Tuesday. The funding--which is still in progress--is being led by Silverton Partners and ATX Seed Ventures. Alert Media is led by CEO Brian Cruver. The company's tools are used to provide mass notification for companies, schools, government, and others.

    Armor Aims At Creative Set With New Company, Armored Info
    Richardson, Texas-based cybersecurity software developer Armor said it is targeting the creative community, with a new company called Armored Info, which will specifically help provide tools to help creative content developers secure their content, particularly as part of the production environment.     Upland Software Buys Advanced Processing & Imaging
    Austin-based enterprise software developer Upland Software announced this morning that it has acquired Advanced Processing & Imaging, a company providing document management platforms for the government and school market. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Upland Software said the buy will enhance its workflow automation solutions.     Cirrus Logic Tops $1.2 Billion In Yearly Revenues
    Austin-based analog and digital signal processing semiconductor developer Cirrus Logic said late Tuesday that it had $1.2 billion in revenues in its FY16, a record for the company. Cirrus Logic said that the revenues were up 28 percent from the prior year, fueled by growth in portable audio products. The company announced the record revenues as part of its fourth quarter and full fiscal year results. The company had $232M in revenues in Q4.
