    Amazon's Jeff Bezos Sends Rocket To Space From West Texas
    Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon.com, has sent his first rocket into space from West Texas. Blue Origin, the commercial rocket startup backed by Bezos, said that it sent a rocket into space and back on Monday, in its first test launch to space.     Mytable Expands To Austin
    Mytable, an on-demand, fresh cooked food service, which connects users with meals prepared by local chefs, recently has expanded into Austin, according to the company. The company, which is venture backed by Google Ventures, Arena Ventures, Eniac, Khosla Ventures, Greycroft Partners, and Mucker Capital, said it helps connect local chefs with consumers, who get fresh cooked, affordable meals.     Former Austin Scientific Sold To Oregon Company
    Oxford Instruments - Austin--formerly known as Austin Scientific--which sells cryogenic pumps and equipment for the scientific research market, has been sold to Oregon-based Trillium US. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Oxford Instruments-Austin focuses on helium compression based vacuum and temperature management and control, which is used in scientific research labs.     Silicon Labs Buys Telegesis For $20M
    Austin-based Silicon Labs said late Monday that it has acquried UK-based Telegesis, a provider of ZigBee wireless modules. Silicon Labs said it will pay approximately $20M in cash for Telegesis, which it ssays will contribute approximately $8 to $10M in annual run-rate.
