    Xtera Communications Files For IPO
    Allen, Texas-based Xtera Communications, a developer of high bandwidth optical transport products led by Jon R. Hopper, has filed for an IPO. Xtera said it is looking to raised $60M on the NASDAQ Global Market as XCOM. The IPO is being underwritten by Needham & Company, Cowen and Company, and BMO Capital Markets.     ACTIVE Network Signs Endurance Sports Group
    Dallas-based event registration software developer ACTIVE Network reports this morning that it has signed up a new customer, endurance sports marketing agency Lagardere Sports.     Perot Museum, Dell Roll Out TECH Truck
    Hoping to help get more kids involved in science, technology, and the arts, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and Dell have rolled out a new "TECH Truck", which will bring access to the museum to more youth.     Business Intelligence Software Developer TARGIT Sets Up Shop In Houston
    TARGIT, a developer of business intelligence and analytics software, said today that it has set up shop in Texas, opening up a new office in Houston.     CURB Energy Raises $1.25M In Seed Funding
    Austin-based CURB, which is developing devices to help users monitor and manage their energy consumption and solar production, has raised $1.25M in a seed funding round.
