Financial terms of the win were not announced. Size of the investment was not disclosed. Almalence develops software algorithms which run on image processors, used to increase the image quality of DSLR cameras. Almalence has its headquarters in Austin, but says most of its R&D actually goes on in Novosibirsk, Russia. According to YETI Coolers, it has named Matt Reintjes as its new CEO. Reintjes was most recently head of the Outdoors Product division of Vista Outdoor, and also has served at Danaher.
