Tuesday, June 30, 2015 RideScout Buys GlobeSherpa Austin-based RideScout said Tuesday that it is acquiring fellow mobile transportation app developer GlobeSherpa, to expand its capabilities in its own mobile app. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Google said is will open up signups or new areas in Southeast Austin next month, as it continues to expand out its network.
