    MyDistrict.net Sells Minority Stake
    Dallas-based MyDistrict.net, which develops software to manage the distribution of newspapers, has sold a minority stake to newspaper and print distributor ACI Media Group. Financial details of the deal were not announced. MyDistrict.Net was founded in 2001 in Dallas, to help manage newspaper home delivery in the Dallas market for The Dallas Morning News. The company says it now provides its software in more than 45 markets around the United (More info...)

    RadioShack Shutters Online Store, Says It Will Return Soon
    Fort Worth-based electronics retailer RadioShack has closed its online store, saying on its site that the online store is "coming back soon." The company--which is in bankruptcy--had not announced the move. RadioShack is in the midst of a bankruptcy sale. It appears RadioShack shut down the online store sometime between Monday morning and Tuesday. RadioShack is now directing its customers to its local, retail locations.

    WayBlazer Gets $5M For Travel Discovery
    Austin-based WayBlazer, a new startup developing travel discovery and planning software, said today that it has raised $5M in a series A funding round. The funding was led by The Entrepreneurs' Fund (TEF) and IBM, and also included Gobi Partners. WayBlazer is using IBM's Watson technology on yet-unannounced products aimed at the hotel, cruise, travel publications, and destination marketing organizations.     DreamJobbing Launches Hiring Software
    Austin-based DreamJobbing said today that it has launched a new job recruiting service called HR.DreamJobbing.com, which helps employers better manage recruiting. The new service lets applicants for jobs include a video cover letter, digital portfolio, and links to their social media accounts, making it easier for employers to screen job applicants during the hiring process.     CoachTube Buys PlaySportsTV
    Austin-based CoachTube, an online site which features online video instruction from sports coaches, said last week that it has acquired PlaySportsTV, a fellow online sports video site. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. CoachTube was founded by Wade Floyd. The site features hundreds of sports focused coaching videos, which are available both for free as well as pay-per-view.
