    RadioShack Goes To Standard General, Says Report
    Bankrupt Fort Worth-based electronics retailer Radio Shack has reportedly been sold to creditor Standard General, according to a report from Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the situation. Standard General said last week that it was the only bidder on RadioShack, bidding $145.5M--but a substantial amount of that bid in loan forgiveness.     Aeglea Biotherapeutics Raises $44M

    Techstars Launches Third Austin Class
    Techstars said Monday that it has launched its third, startup accelerator class in Austin, adding another ten companies into its program, which combines funding and mentoring to help launch startups.     AgileCraft Adds Stock To Board
    Austin-based agile software developer AgileCraft announced this morning that it has added Greg Stock, the CEO of Zenoss, to its board of directors. Stock has also served at an EIR at Austin Ventures, and was Chairman of Macheen, and also has served at Manugistics, Vastera, Mirage Networks, and Vovici. AgileCraft recently raised $10M in a Series A funding from Crane Nelson and others. AgileCraft is led by Steve Elliot.

    Ticketsoft Acquired By New Zealand Competitor
    Dallas-based Ticketsoft, which develops cinema management software for the movie theater business, has been acquired by a New Zealand-based competitor, Vista Group International. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Ticketsoft was founded in 2001, and sold its software to both large chains and indepedent cinema companies. Vista said Ticketsoft's products are being used by more than 200 theaters across North America.

    Need your lawn mowed, quick? Another on-demand, lawn mowing startup has launched in Austin, saying that it has opened up service in Austin. Plowz and Mowz, a New York startup which got its start offering up on-demand snow plowing, said it just launched in Austin, to offer up lawn care via its mobile app. Plowz and Mowz connects lawn (and snow plowing) operators with customers, and handles payment, and also provides all of the notification and tracking (More info...)
