    Dell Invests In Software Defined Storage Developer Nexenta
    Round Rock-based Dell has made an investment in Nexenta, a developer of software-defined storage software used in data center environments. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Nexenta is based in Santa Clara, California.

    Freescale Targets Wireless Charging Market

    Interactions Plans To Hire 1,000 In Austin
    Interactions, a provider of customer service and data entry services, says it is bolstering its operations in Austin, and plans to hire a thousand new employees at its Austin location by 2015. The company--whose clients include Hyatt, Best Western, Humana, LifeLock, and many others--said the employees will help support its virtual assistant solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises.     Tyler Technologies Gets Win In Newport Beach, California
    Plano-based government software developer Tyler Technologies reported a win this week with the city of Newport Beach, California. Tyler said that the city is using its Munis enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Newport Beach is apparently replacing a legacy system with Tyler's software, which will serve around 150 concurrent users at the city.
