    AT&T, Amazon Team On Fire Smartphone
    Dallas-based AT&T and online ecommerce giant Amazon.com said this morning that the two have begun delivering Amazon's new Amazon Fire smartphone on its network. The two said that the Amazon Fire is available for purchase today at AT&T's retail locations nationwide, and online at both AT&T and Amazon's site.     Michael Dell's Son Plans Dating Website
    Zachary Dell, the son of Dell CEO Michael Dell, is planning to launch a new dating app called Thread, according to reports this week. Thread, which has yet to launch, says it is focusing on mobile dating for the college set. The new startup is based at the Capital Factory. The startup is initially targeting University of Texas organizations with its service.

    Allegro Development In Recap
    Dallas-based energy trading and risk management software developer Allegro Development has been recapitalized by private equity investors Vector Capital and Cerium Technology, the two companies said late Thursday. Financial details of the recapitalization were not disclosed. As part of the funding, the new investors have named Jason Liu as Allegro's interim CEO, and also added David Fishman and Andy Fishman of Vector Capital to its boa (More info...)
