    Omnitracs Moves Headquarters To Dallas
    Omnitracs, a developer of fleet management software owned by Vista Equity Partners, is moving its headquarters to Dallas, according to Governor Rick Perry. The Governor's office said that the Texas Enterprise Fund has invested $3.9M in Omnitracs as part of the effort to move the company. The move creates 450 jobs in Dallas.     Texas Companies Raise $365.4M In Venture Capital In Q2


    Companies in Texas raised $365.4M in venture capital in Q2 of the year, according to the numbers released last night by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association, based on data from Thomson Reuters. The MoneyTree funding numbers for Texas were slightly up from Q1, when $345.8M was raised in Texas, and about double the $186.7M raised in Q2 of 2013 in the region. The quarter's funding brings the state's total venture capital for 2014 to $700.2M so far.

    NQ Mobile Switches Auditors
    NQ Mobile, the mobile Internet services provider which serves China, but has its headquarters in Dallas, reported today that it has named Marcum Bernstein Pinchuk LLP as its new auditor.     CyrusOne Wins Unleashed Technologies
    Dallas-based data center provider CyrusOne has scored a win with Unleashed Technologies, a provider of web hosting services, the two announced Thursday. CyrusOne said that Unleashed Technologies has selected the company's Austin facility to house its web-design and hosting service for clients, and also added the company as a channel partner. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
