    Zimbra Buys Mezeo
    Dallas-based online document and collaboration software maker Zimbra said this morning that it has acquired Mezeo, a developer of secure file sharing and cloud storage software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Zimbra said the acquisition will help it expand its collaboration software with file-sync-and-share capabilities. Mezeo was based in Houston.

    Quorum Business Solutions Acquired By Silver Lake Partners
    Houston-based software developer Quorum Business Solutions, a developer of financial accounting, transaction, trading, and other software for the oil and gas industry, has been acquired by private equity firm Silver Lake Partners. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Quorum Business Solutions was previously owned by funds managed by The Carlyle Group. Quorum is led by Perry Turbes.

    Quarri Ties With ICSA Software
    Austin-based information security software developer Quarri Technologies said today that it has partnered with ICSA Software International, where ICSA will market its Data Safe and Perimeter Shield software. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. ICSA will sell Quarri's software alongside its own Blueprint OneWorld compliance software. Quarri is backed by Houston Angel Network, Daylight Partners, and the Texas Halo Fund.
