    MyEdu Offers Up $10,000 In Tuition To Student
    Austin's MyEdu is looking to help college students looking to relieve the burden of school on their pocketbooks today, saying it has launched a $10,000 tuition sweepstakes. The startup, which is backed by the University of Texas System and Bain Capital Ventures, said it will award $10,000 to one student for their Fall 2013 tuition, plus give away $100 Amazon gift card every week to members who join the site.     Rackspace Backs Cloudant For Cloud Databasas
    Cloud services and hosting firm Rackspace has backed a developer of cloud-based databases, Cloudant, in a venture deal this morning. Cloudant said it raised $12M in a second round of funding this morning, including investments from Rackspace, Devonshire Investors, Toba Capital, as well as Avalon Ventures, In-Q-Tel, and Samsung Venture Investment Corporation.     UT Austin Launches Video Gaming Academy

    Can you go to school to learn how to be a videogame designer? Indeed, you can, thanks to the University of Texas at Austin, which has just launched a new program which will provide a certificate in video game design. The new program is being headed up by two gaming industry insiders, and is aimed at supporting economic growth of the gaming industry in Texas.

    ProspX Finds New Funding, CEO
    Austin-based ProspX, which develops software for managing the commercial insurance process, said today that it has closed additional funding, and named a new CEO. Details on the funding were not announced. ProspX said the new funds will go towards growth and expansion. As part of the funding, the company said it has named Steve Gold as President and CEO of the company. Co-founder and former president and CEO Todd L.     CompuCom Sets New CEO
    Dallas-based IT outsourcing firm CompuCom announced late Monday that it has named Anthony (Tony) Doye as its new CEO. Doye has been at the company since November, and previously served at Fujitsu North America, where he was president and CEO. He also has served at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Unisys and IBM.
