    Heyride Acquired By SideCar
    Austin-based HeyRide, the developer of a mobile application for ridesharing in Austin, has been acquired by San Francisco-based SideCar. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. SideCar said the acquisition would help it build out its operational presence in Austin. Both HeyRide and SideCar focus on developing smartphone applications linking riders with drivers.     Sage Nonprofit Solutions Acquired By Accel-KKR
    Austin-based Sage Nonprofit Solutions, the nonprofit accounting, donor and fundraising management, and grant management software development arm of Sage Group plc, has been acquired by private equity firm Accel-KKR, Accel-KKR said Friday morning.     Youtoo Technologies Wins Divorce Court
    Las Colinas-based Youtoo Technologies, the developer of interactive television technology for the broadcast television market, has scored a win with television series "Divorce Court", the firm said Thursday. According to Youtoo, which is backed by reality TV pioneer Mark Burnett, it will be powering a feature called "Question of the Week" for Divorce Court, allowing fans to record a video on a webcam to be included in the show.     VEX Robotics Names Engineering VP
    VEX Robotics, which develops educational robotics products, said this week that it has named John V-Neun as its Vice President of Engineering. The Greenville, Texas-based company said V-Neun will manage the firm's product lines and engineering and educational development projects worldwide. V-Neun has been at VEX Robotics since it started, and was previously Director of Product Development.

    Blue Sage Capital Closes $150M Fund
    Austin-based private equity investor Blue Sage Capital said today that it has raised $150M in commitments in an oversubscribed, second fund. Blue Sage focuses on growth, recapitalization and buyout financings of smaller middle market companies based in Texas and the Southwest. Blue Sage says it invests in profitable companies with $10M to $100M in revenues, and $3M to $10M in cash flow, with each initial investment between $10M and $15M.

    Pivot3 Debuts Professional Services
    Austin-based Pivot3, which develops storage appliances specifically aimed at the video surveillance and virtual desktop infrastructure market, said this week that it has launched a new set of support and professional services. The company said the professional services will include training, installation, and consulting support.
