StoredIQ Acquisition Completes
The acquisition of Austin-based StoredIQ has completed, according to IBM, and will go to help IBM's efforts in the big data initiative area. Financial terms of the acquisition, which was announced in December, have not been disclosed. StoredIQ was headed by Phil Myers, and was backed by backed by PerformanceEdge Partners, and S3 Ventures. CyrusOne Wins Accudata Systems
Dallas-based data center provider CyrusOne reports this morning that it has been chosen by IT consulting and integration firm Accudata Systems. CyrusOne said that Accudata Systems has chosen it as its data center solutions provider in Texas. Size of the win was not disclosed. Accudata specifically pointed to CyrusOne's statewide Internet exchange in its selection of the company.
