    FounderDating Sets New Austin Deadline
    FounderDating, which launched into the Austin market last fall in an effort to connect prospective startup founders with each other, said this week that it has opened up a new round of applications in Austin for its first round of 2013.     ipDatatel Connects Into $2.85M
    Houston-based ipDataTEl, a developer of wireless equipment used to connect security, home automation, and other devices into the Internet, said this morning that it has raised $2.85M in a growth financing round.     Alert Logic Reports Growth, Hits $30.6M In Revenues
    Privately held Alert Logic, which provides security software-as-a-service for web application developers, reported today that it had $30.6M in GAAP revenue for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2012. The revenues were a 43 percent increase over the same period in 2011, according to the company. In addition, the Houston-based company said its annualized revenue run rate in the fourth quarter was $37M. It's quite unusual for privately held companies (More info...)

    RadioShack, Target Part On Mobile Phone Partnership
    Fort Worth-based RadioShack Corp. and retailer Target have parted ways on a partnership, RadioShack said last night, where Radio Shack operated the Target Mobile business in 1,500 of Target's stores. RadioShack said the move came after the two companies failed to reach an agreement on the effort, which has been in negotiation since October of 2012.     Universal Power Group Buys Kinetik
    Carrollton-based Universal Power Group, Inc., a supplier of batteries and other related power accessories, said today that it has acquired the brands, trademark, and intellectual property of Kinetik, a Toledo, Ohio supplier of power for high end car audio.
